Sunnyside holds the distinct honour of being the very first Seventh-day Adventist care home in Canada. This pioneering beginning laid the foundation for a legacy that reminds us daily: this work is not just healthcare — it’s ministry. With 97 residents, 180 dedicated staff, and hundreds of family members who pass through our doors each year, we see Sunnyside as a vibrant missionary field, planted right in the heart of our community. On Friday evening, May 2, 2025, 52 extraordinary ladies and a lovely young lady arrived at the Russell Inn in Russell, Manitoba, to enjoy a fantastic weekend of spiritual blessings, fellowship, meeting new friends, and a tremendous time together. Our team arrived the day before to set up, decorate, and prepare lovely surprises for each lady. To our delight and surprise, our fabulous hostess had the meeting room all prepared as though a banquet for a wedding were to take place. She had gone above and beyond to make it beautiful, even making the pretty centrepieces for each table. We
