Women’s Retreat 2025

On Friday evening, May 2, 2025, 52 extraordinary ladies and a lovely young lady arrived at the Russell Inn in Russell, Manitoba, to enjoy a fantastic weekend of spiritual blessings, fellowship, meeting new friends, and a tremendous time together. Our team arrived the day before to set up, decorate, and prepare lovely surprises for each lady. To our delight and surprise, our fabulous hostess had the meeting room all prepared as though a banquet for a wedding were to take place. North Battleford Churches Mobilize to Aid La Ronge Evacuees

Over 200 evacuees recently arrived in North Battleford, fleeing from the devastating wildfires affecting La Ronge and surrounding areas. Among them, 170 were registered through the Saskatchewan Public Safety Agency (SPSA), while an additional 30 came under the care of the Red Cross. Recognizing the urgent needs of these displaced families, the mayor of North Battleford reached out to me and two other pastors for assistance. One of the immediate concerns was helping evacuees access clean clothing, so we contacted the Ministerial Association to discuss how we could respond effectively. Hutterite Colony Donates 1,000 Pounds of Potatoes to ADRA/ACS Community Centre

Winnipeg, Manitoba – April 3, 2025: The Cascade Hutterite Colony in McGregor, Manitoba, partnered with the ADRA/ACS Community Centre in Winnipeg to distribute 1,000 pounds of potatoes to those in need. Volunteers from three local churches organized and prepared the donation for distribution within 24 hours. Fifteen volunteers from the Korean Seventh-day Adventist Church, West Park Seventh-day Adventist Church, and Henderson Highway Seventh-day Adventist Church sorted and packed 46 boxes of potatoes. This effort addressed food insecurity and strengthened connections between the ADRA/ACS Community Centre and the Hutterite Colony.
