Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference Launches Over $258,000 in Mission Initiatives—Exceeding Budget as the Spirit Moves
SASKATOON, SK – The Manitoba-Saskatchewan Conference of Seventh-day Adventists is excited to announce the approval and launch of over $258,000 in mission initiatives for 2025, surpassing the original budget of $200,000. This bold step of faith reflects our congregations’ generosity and the Holy Spirit’s unmistakable movement across Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Nunavut.
As Scripture reminds us: “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.” (Ephesians 3:20, NIV)
Indeed, God is doing more than we imagined. Our members’ willingness to go beyond financial limits demonstrates a deep commitment to Jesus’ mission and a readiness to follow the Spirit’s leading.
Ellen G. White wrote: “The efficiency of the Spirit of God will make effective the labors of all who are willing to submit to His guidance.”

Mission by the Numbers
- Community Services (Preparing the Soil): $97,945
- Friendship Evangelism (Planting the Seed): $92,844.80
- Bible Studies (Crop Care & Protection): $16,747.60
- Public Evangelism (The Harvest): $50,935.60
Together, these initiatives aim to impact more than 8,000 lives across our territory.
Highlights of Spirit-Led Initiatives
- Biggar, SK: Health booth and mental wellness workshops at the city fair.
- Henderson, SK: Family Fun Day and Vacation Bible School for children.
- Hill Avenue, SK: Monthly sack lunches for the homeless and a belief-focused Bible series.
- St. Walburg, SK: Blueberry Festival outreach with prayer booths and Bibles for 4,000 attendees.
- Pinehouse, SK: Lawson Heights Family Nest program for young families.
- Quill Lake, SK: Purple Door Ministry serving Watson, Englefeld, Spalding, and Naicam.
- Spirit of Truth, SK: Health Expo and Family Fun Day to strengthen community bonds.
- West Park, SK: Healthy Cooking Group and small group ministry for new immigrants.
- Brandon, MB: Student ministry with small groups, meals, and transportation for college students.
- Pembina, MB: Gift baskets and support services for new immigrants.
- Winnipeg Central, MB: Revelation Seminar and community service projects.
- Moose Jaw, SK: Islam & Christianity Prophecy Seminar and Pinnacle of Prophecy lessons.
- Canora, SK: Health Expo during Cinco de Mayo celebration.
- Nunavut: Food hampers and mental health talks for Inuit elders and families.
- Mt. Andrews, MB: Winnipeg Rising City Ministries focusing on outreach and healing.
- Living Hope, SK: Food security project for vulnerable families.
- Neuva, SK: Parenting support for immigrant mothers through social gatherings.
- Prince Albert, SK: Depression and Anxiety Recovery Program for mental health support.
- Rosthern, SK: Centennial block party and launch of “The Gathering Place” drop-in center.
- Victoria Avenue, SK: Community block party to build bridges with neighbors.
- Transcona, MB: Youth and family social events to foster friendships.
- Portage, MB: Music & Arts Camp and holistic small group ministry training.
- Weyburn, SK: Community meals and senior wellness programs.
- Estevan, SK: Community Friendship Sportsfest and marriage enrichment programs.
- Hill Avenue, SK: Korean language classes and fellowship for university students.
- Spirit of Truth, SK: CHIP health program and Vacation Bible School for families.
- West Park, SK: Sports-based outreach groups like pickleball and biking clubs.
- Nunavut: Grocery support for 25 Inuit households to strengthen community care.
- Pembina, MB: Partnership with Morden Caring and Sharing for food security.
- Silver Heights, MB: Series of public evangelism sermons to reach seekers.

Projected Impact
- Saskatchewan: Over 6,000 people reached through community events, health expos, and evangelistic campaigns.
- Manitoba: More than 1,500 individuals engaged through friendship evangelism and prophecy seminars.
- Nunavut: At least 200 individuals blessed through food security and mental health initiatives.
